MS-PECD presented at Chiroptics International Bunsen Discussion Meeting, 5-8 April 2017, Munich, Germany

At the 5-8 April 2017 International Bunsen Discussion Meeting on Chiroptics in Munich, Germany, our founder and CEO dr. Maurice H.M. Janssen, presented a lecture on the novel laser based MS-PECD technology for direct Mass Spectrometry of chiral molecules. The Chiroptics network and the Discussion Meeting in Munich discussed the present state of the relevance of chiroptical systems for enantio-analysis of dilute samples with low enantiomeric excess. By virtue of the subject, spectroscopic methods and the chiroptical properties of molecular systems in the gas phase were at the focus of the meeting. Strong emphasis was put on topics such as chirality at surfaces, chiroptical nanoparticles and chiral functional systems. Furthermore, enantio-selective processes and nanofabrication of chiroptical systems were among the discussed topics.
