PECD the `Golden Standard` for enantiomeric sensitivity of chiroptical techniques

In a recent theoretical publication an independent research team from Germany and France referred to PhotoElectronCircularDichroism (PECD) as being the Golden Standard when comparing with the enantiomeric sensitivity of their own circular HighHarmonicGeneration (cHHG) method:
The chiral dichroism signal achievable with PECD, up to some 10%, sets the ‘golden standard’ for the cHHG method.
The high enantiomeric sensitivity of PECD (up to 10%) inspired these researchers to judge the sensitivity of their cHHG method by comparing theoretically the merits of cHHG with the high sensitivity (Golden Standard) of PECD.
